Meade type #505 USB cable designed to connect any Meade telescope or mount to a computer (WinXP-Vista-7/8/10/11) via the RS-232 protocol.
The objective is to control the telescope via planetarium software.

This cable is also ASCOM compatible and allows GOTO control of the telescope via planetarium software TheSky6, TheSkyX, Stellarium, MaximDL, Carte du Ciel, APT, NINA or similar software.

Cable also compatible for firmware updates (43Eg for example), via Meade's StarPatch or ASU software.
